All products and services sold in MANIMAL Online Store are in accordance with the Portuguese law.

This page advises you of the terms of use of which you may make use of our website manimal.pt. Please read these terms of use prior to using the site.

By using our site, you indicate that you have read, understood and accepted these terms of use, together with our privacy policy, cancelation, return and refund policy.

This information is applied for all users of the site, individual or entrepreneurs.

We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and/or changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to the website following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

All Products branded MANIMAL are sold exclusively on our on-line store manimal.pt.

MANIMAL will not take any sort of responsibility for products branded MANIMAL that are purchased in any unauthorized reseller or distributor.

 

MANIMAL is committed to protect your privacy. To be able to complete a purchase on our website, the user of our site and consumer of our products may need to provides us with some personal information. This information would not be shared with third parties or used for other purposes not related with the business relationship with MANIMAL.

You agree to provide personal data and correct addresses. If any of the data is incorrect or insufficient, and for this reason there is a delay or inability in order processing, or any non-delivery, the responsibility is entirely the user, and the MANIMAL declines any responsibility. Orders re-dispatch costs will be your responsibility.

Orders should be placed by users with legal age (individuals under the age must have consent of their representatives). The data and information transmitted by the User shall enjoy full legal effect, recognizing the User electronic purchases and can not claim that lack of signature for breach of obligations.

You must not transmit any worms or viruses or any code of a destructive nature.

 

All site content is the responsibility of MANIMAL. If you notice any errors please report to us for info@manimal.pt so that we can fix it as soon as possible.

At any time, we may restrict access to some parts of our site, or our entire site.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time, to modify the contents of this website and our products at any time, to change prices, to limit the quantities or discontinue any of our products or services we offer, without notice.

We reserve the right limit or cancel orders when checking some inconsistency in the personal data submitted or observe misconduct by the buyer.

 

You acknowledge that the Service contains confidential information and is protected by copyright and related rights, industrial property and other applicable legislation.

You acknowledge that any content appearing in advertising, highlight, promotion or mention of any sponsor or advertiser is protected by laws relating to copyright and related rights, the laws relating to industrial property and other proprietary protection laws, so any use of such content may only occur under the express permission of the respective holders.

 

PRODUCT RELATED

 

MANIMAL products have one-year warranty. Our products are intended for domesticated animals, but they are not damage proof (such as bite or scratch aggressions). Any damages resulting from the use of the product, from the exposure of the Products to a harmful environment and/or liquids, and from the disregard of washing instructions will not be considered as defects or nonconformities, and are not covered by warranty.

 

MANIMAL is a handcraft product composed of natural materials, therefor issues related to the artisanal production process and material’s natural imperfections will not be considered as defects in the production process.

Fabrics used in MANIMAL Products have cotton as component. Therefor even if you comply with the washing instructions on the label, it is possible that the fabrics experience a small reduction of size. This fact shall not be considered a defect since all the characteristics of the product are maintained.

 

The consumer must ensure that the ordered articles correspond to the order made and that they are free from manufacturing defects or apparent nonconformity, within 30 days months from the date that the Customer has received the Product.

 

MANIMAL does not guarantee that your pet will use your purchased Product.

We advise you to place in or on our models any pet’s personal objects (such as blankets, toys, etc.) in order to increase chances of a more frequent usage.

 

REPLACEMENT OR REFUND

 

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.

In the event of defects in the manufacture or nonconformity of the Products, the Customer shall have the right to demand that the conformity of the product be restored by means of replacement or the product or refund. For this matter please us an email at info@manimal.pt, and please specify order number, your reasons for replacement or refund, and include a receipt or proof of purchase.

 

To be eligible for a replacement or refund, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

MANIMAL will be responsible for paying for your shipping costs for returning your item in a case of replacement, due to defects or nonconformities.

In case of refunds, the Consumer will be responsible for paying shipping costs for the returning items. The cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

 

If the Consumer chooses to handle the shipment of the returning item, we strongly recommend a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item, nor take responsibility for damage occurred, loses or any other problems that may take place during the shipping process.

 

In case of refund, once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to the credit card placed in the original order, within a certain amount of days.

 

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account, credit card company, and contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

SECURE PAYMENT

 

Our online store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.

All transactions in this online store are made using Stripe payment gateway, ensuring an encryption process where nobody can decode your personal data while traveling from your computer to ours, and ours to the bank.

 

All prices on the site are in Euros, and include VAT taxes.

While we make every effort to ensure that the prices posted on the website are correct, errors may always exist. In the case of any price errors we will inform the Customer and give the option to confirm the order with the correct price or cancel it. If the Customer cannot be contacted, we will treat the request as cancelled and all amounts paid will be refunded in full.

You will receive a payment confirmation email sent by info@manimal.pt within 5 days from the time the order was placed.

 

SHIPPING & DELIVERY TIME

 

At the moment, MANIMAL only offers free shipment in Portugal*.

We ship our products to countries of the EU, through a courier service of our choice. For shipment to countries outside of the EU, please contact us at info@manimal.pt.

A flat rate will be calculated during the ordering process, and it’s calculated by weight of product and zone of delivery, accordingly to the following table.

Considering our handcraft production and shipment process, your purchase is estimated for delivery in 3 to 4 weeks from the moment of payment confirmation.

This Privacy Policy intends to inform our Customers and Visitors of the general rules of privacy and treatment of their personal data, which we collect and treat in the strict respect and compliance with the Law of Protection of Personal Data.

The privacy policy is related to the current website, we are not responsible for any content or privacy policy of other websites. Any external link will be clearly identified.

 

At MANIMAL we are committed to protect your privacy. To be able to complete a purchase on our website, you need to give us some personal information. This information would not be shared with third parties or used for other purposes not related with the business relationship with Manimal.

We do not collect any personal information on this website, excluding the information you provide voluntarily, for example when filling out our forms. Any information you provide to us will not be made available to third parties and will only be used by us for the purpose for which it was made available.

When you register for the newsletter and/or fill in an order form, we store your IP address entered by the Internet Service Provider (ISP) as well as the date and time of registration so that we can trace any possible misuse of your e-mail address at a later time. We may use your personal information to send you information about the promotions, products or services we offer. We may send this information by mail, email, SMS and newsletters.
